Reservations and Reflections
Reservations Although the art direction has produced a rich, nuanced world environment, users who demand leading-edge visuals will have to wait at least a few more months for DirectX 10 support. Despite enormous amounts of source material to draw on, the lore element isn't always obvious; for instance, a number of the quests could take place in nearly any fantasy setting.

Can WoW teach the US Government about Terrorism?
I really don't know where to begin with this one. On one hand, there are some resemblances in acts within the game, but actually comparing it to taking hundreds or thousands of lives? Lives that don't come back? No resurrection to recover from a wipe? Yeah... that's a bit much, honestly. Is Blizzard Dumbing Down WoW?
Ron, a newswriter for Gaming Today (part of filefront.com) have shared his take on it all. He's calling the article "Don't Worry, Blizzard Isn't Dumbing Down World of Warcraft". Judging from the forum posts I have seen, one of the more controversial changes coming in the 2.4 patch is the removal of attunements for the Mount Hyjal and Black Temple 25-man raid instances, and the introduction of gear that can be purchased with Badges of Justice that is on par with Hyjal/Black Temple drops. At first glance, the non-MMO player would wonder why this, of all things, would be a point of contention. Personally, I wonder what mindset makes players think this is a bad idea.
